Engineering and geotechnics

Large-scale engineering works are benefited by the use of satellite images of medium and high resolution in its various stages, from the search for areas of provision of materials for the construction, until the control and monitoring of the works. Spatial information allows to generate various types of cartographic products of great utility, such as relief and slope maps, structural maps, topographic profiles, thematic maps of road networks and infrastructure maps. This information can be integrated both with elevation data, to generate different types of products for the tri-dimensional observations, and with data from different sources and of different scales.
